Discussion Takeaways
- One problem in the food system is that the right food products are not available, affordable, and culturally relevant to the community.

- Food insecurity doesn't always have to be economic-related. Lack of time is also another factor for food insecurity.
- Food is core to everyone's existence from a health and economic perspective. When it comes to power dynamics, food is used as a tool for power imbalance.
- There is a need to create a demand for food products with diverse ingredients and flavors that will help local farmers.
- Food dignity means that a family can maintain their traditions and celebrations while not breaking the bank.
