Discussion Takeaways

  • The food space in different communities has snowballed into a space where they don't have power over the food. Big business does.
  • It shouldn't matter what your race or societal status is for you to get healthy food that heals your body.
  • Food power is holding large companies accountable for the type of food that is put on the shelves in grocery stores.

  • Warehouses do not fight hunger. Instead, they create a place for food to rot.
  • Food dignity means having the same quality of food in your community as any other community, no matter your race, color, or societal status.
